Crains Creek Firefighters Respond to Dual Fires on Autumn Drive
A vehicle fire on Autumn Drive in Crains Creek escalated to a structure fire in a nearby trailer. Firefighters contained the blaze to one room, but the vehicle was a total loss. Multiple emergency units responded, and the cause of both fires is under investigation.
Town of Robbins Seeks Visionary Reuse of Historic Police Building
The Town of Robbins is seeking proposals for the adaptive reuse of the historic Robbins Police Building. The building, which offers 9,583 square feet of space on a .22-acre lot with adjacent town parking, has been prepped for renovation following asbestos abatement and the installation of a new roof in 2024. The town is looking for businesses or individuals committed to preserving the building’s historic character while transforming it into a vibrant business or community resource.
Interested parties can lease or purchase the property, which has been prepared for redevelopment. Proposals are due by July 1, 2024, with a decision expected by September 16, 2024. More details BizFayetteville.com
