Tiger Woods Secures Spot in U.S. Open Through Special Exemption

Tiger Woods has been given a special exemption to compete in the 124th U.S. Open Championship at Pinehurst. With a storied career that includes three U.S. Open titles, Woods is set to add another chapter at a venue rich in golfing heritage. See details Sandhills Sentinel.

NCDOT Proposes a Continuos Flow Intersection for Pinehurst

NCDOT is exploring a Continuous Flow Intersection (CFI) to update the Pinehurst traffic circle, aiming to handle increased traffic more efficiently. This project is expected to reduce high crash rates and enhance traffic flow, with public discussions planned for this summer and construction anticipated by 2030. See details Sandhills Sentinel.

Below are a couple of video explanations we found that explain how a Continuous Flow Intersection should work. However, we have not found any examples of how a CFI would work with 5 intersecting roads, as we have at our infamous traffic circle. Enjoy!
