Power Outage Attack Caused Pinehurst Woman's Death

The 87-year-old woman’s death during the Moore County blackouts has been ruled a homicide by the medical examiner. Karin Zoanelli of Pinehurst died due to exacerbated breathing problems caused by a power outage from an attack on Duke Energy substations. Despite being deemed a targeted attack, no arrests have been made, and a $75,000 reward is offered for information. See details MSN.com.
