Moore County Restaurants Brace for Busy U.S. Open Week

Moore County restaurants are gearing up for the U.S. Open, expecting a busy week compared to the varied business they experienced in 2014. With more short-term rentals and easier access to local spots via social media, restaurant owners are confident in handling the crowds. Key establishments are planning extended hours, special events, and increased staffing to accommodate the influx of tourists and locals. Moore County Confirms Two New Rabies Cases in Bats

The Moore County Sheriff’s Office Animal Services confirmed two new rabies cases involving bats in Aberdeen and West End, bringing the total to six for the year. Residents are advised to safeguard themselves and their pets. Report suspicious animal behavior to Animal Services at (910) 947-2858. See details Sandhills Sentinel.
