Aberdeen and Cameron Elementary Schools Receive Threats

Aberdeen Elementary School and Cameron Elementary School both received threats on Tuesday. As a precaution, all Moore County Schools were placed under a soft lockdown. Authorities investigated and determined the threats to be non-credible. Schools conducted normal dismissals with additional security measures. We hope to provide additional details at a later time. Dog Attack in Star Leaves Woman Injured

Monday afternoon a woman was injured in a dog attack at a residence on Edward Road in Star. She was airlifted with non-life-threatening injuries, and the Moore County Sheriff’s Office has taken custody of the three dogs involved. The investigation is ongoing. See details SandhillsSentinel.com.

Water bills for the Town of Pinebluff were sent out on Wednesday, September 4th. Unfortunately, the Post Office mistakenly redirected them to the Fayetteville Post Office and they have not yet returned to Pinebluff.
