Car Chase Ends at Food Lion Parking Lot, One Suspect on the Run

A police chase originating in Foxfire Sunday evening ended at the Food Lion on N.C. Highway 5, with two suspects arrested and one still at large. The pursuit started after a traffic stop for a Nissan Altima without a license plate. The vehicle lost a tire during the chase, forcing it to stop, leading to the arrests. A search for the third suspect who fled on foot is ongoing. See details MooreCountyNews.com.

Multiple Structures Engulfed in Fire on Mercedes Ln. in Cameron

Crain’s Creek Fire Department assisted Cypress Pointe Fire Department with a structure fire Monday morning on Mercedes Lane in Cameron. The fire involved two mobile homes and a motor home. Engine 233 of Crain’s Creek FD supported water supply operations by tying into Spout Springs’ engine and setting up a drop tank for water tankers to refill and return to the scene.
