Carthage Intersection Accident Under Investigation

A two-car collision occurred at the intersection of N.C. 24-27 and U.S. Highway 15-501 in Carthage on Monday afternoon, September 2, leading to minor injuries for all involved and temporary road closures. Two-Vehicle Accident in Southern Pines Sends One to Hospital

A crash involving two vehicles on Highway 15-501 in Southern Pines led to road closures and delays on Friday afternoon, August 30. A Hyundai and a Dodge Dart collided, resulting in minor injuries for the Hyundai driver, who was taken to the hospital. The Southern Pines Police Department is investigating the incident. NC State Trooper Injured in Traffic Stop Altercation on I-73

A NC State Trooper was injured during a traffic stop on I-73 near Candor after a confrontation with a driver, Clint Snipes, who was stopped for speeding. The altercation resulted in injuries to both the Trooper and Snipes, who were treated and released from the hospital. Snipes faces multiple charges, including DWI. See details MooreCountyNews.com.

Illegal Drugs and Guns Seized in Southern Pines Raid

Two men were arrested in Southern Pines after deputies found drugs and firearms during a search of a home. Antwain Orlando Stroman and George Reaves Jr. face multiple charges, including drug possession and firearm offenses. Both are being held in the Moore County Detention Center, with court dates scheduled in September. See details CBS17.com.

Pinehurst Collision Between Vehicle and Golf Cart

A vehicle and a golf cart were involved in a collision on NC 211 at Gun Club Drive in Pinehurst on Saturday night. Although emergency services were dispatched and two lanes were blocked, no one was transported to the hospital. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
