A phone scam involving individuals posing as law enforcement officers is targeting residents, falsely claiming they have arrest warrants and demanding payment in cryptocurrency. Fire Hydrant Flushing to Start in Pinehurst: What Residents Need to Know

The Village of Pinehurst Fire Department, in cooperation with Moore County Public Utilities, will conduct its annual fire hydrant testing and maintenance from September until January 2025. This program helps ensure adequate water for firefighting and identifies maintenance needs. Residents may experience temporary water discoloration and are advised to run cold water to clear it.
