Tragic Highway 15-501 Crash Claims Driver's Life in Eastwood

A female driver died in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 15-501 in Eastwood on Saturday evening, June 22. The vehicle veered off the road, hit a tree, and overturned, ejecting the driver, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities discovered a child's car seat and other items in the vehicle, prompting a search for a possible child passenger, but none was found. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash, noting the driver was not wearing a seatbelt. The victim's identity has not been disclosed pending notification of relatives. Aberdeen Police Ask for Public Assistance in Identifying Individual

The Aberdeen Police Department is seeking the public’s help to identify an individual captured in the photographs above. The subject was observed getting into a silver Nissan Altima.
