Peach Week 2024: A Sweet Celebration Coming Soon!

The Sandhills will be celebrating Peach Week 2024 from July 18 to July 28, expanding on Candor’s N.C. Peach Festival. The week will feature a restaurant competition, 5K run, specialty drinks, car show, and kids’ activities, celebrating North Carolina's peach harvest. More details to come.

New Downtown Aberdeen Parking Lot Underway

Paving has started on a new parking lot at the corner of Poplar Street and Knight Street in downtown Aberdeen. The project will be completed in two layers, with the final layer being added tomorrow. The new lot will offer more parking spaces for the busy downtown area. See details MooreBreakingNewz.com.
