Great Day for Sandhills Motoring Expo’s Concours in the Village

The sun was out and so were the spectators at Sunday’s Concours in the Village. The cars were extraordinary and fun to see. Here are some photos to enjoy.

71-Year-Old Man Dies in Pickup Truck Accident on US Hwy 1

A 71-year-old man passed away after his pickup truck veered off US Highway 1, striking a guardrail near North May Street on Saturday morning. The man had been assisting a family member with a move earlier that morning. The incident, currently under investigation, resulted in blocked traffic lanes and involved multiple emergency response units. See details Moore Breaking Newz.

ATV Crash Closed Roseland Road Near Sandpit Road on Sunday

A 21-year-old man was critically injured Sunday afternoon, May 26th, when his 4-wheeler struck a pine tree on Roseland Road near Sandpit Road. Emergency responders performed CPR at the scene and during transport to the hospital. The incident caused an extended road closure and involved multiple emergency units.
