$100M Driving Resort Coming to Moore County
Autoport has announced plans to develop Uwharrie Motorsports Park and Resort, a luxury destination for car enthusiasts. The resort will feature a three-mile driving course, 155 luxury car condos, a clubhouse, and various amenities. The resort aims to be a sanctuary for those passionate about automobiles, offering education for drivers of all levels and serving as a hub for various community events and gatherings as well as provide a safe and professionally monitored environment for driving enthusiasts.
The resort will be positioned on Leech Road, between NC Highway 24-27 to the south and Spies Road to the north, just a few miles east of the Montgomery County line and Interstate 73/74. Approximately 200 acres of the total 400-acre property will be developed, leaving the remaining 200+ acres as timberland to create a natural buffer around the resort. The first phase of the resort is planned to open by the end of 2026. See more details MooreCountyEDP.org.
