Major Expansion for Homeless Services

The SECU Foundation has donated $1.2 million to Outreach Mission Inc. for the construction of a new 76-bed shelter in Sanford, which will double the nonprofit's capacity to assist homeless individuals across nine counties, one of them being Moore County. The grant will facilitate the replacement of two outdated shelters, enhancing the nonprofit's ability to offer meals, medical aid, employment services, and shelter to those in need.
