Quick Response Prevents Fire from Damaging Home Near Carthage

A fire on Friday afternoon near Carthage damaged two storage sheds but was quickly contained by local fire departments, preventing any harm to a nearby home. Three Hospitalized Following T-bone Crash on Morganton Road

A Sunday afternoon traffic collision on Morganton Road in Southern Pines involved two vehicles and resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to three people. Foxfire Elderly Woman Found Safe After Extensive Search

On Friday, April 26, a 72-year-old woman from Foxfire, initially the subject of a Silver Alert, was found safe after an extensive search involving multiple agencies and high-tech equipment. She was located near her home with her dog, in good health and spirits. Details Sandhills Sentinel.
