Aberdeen Responds to Safety Concerns with New US Highway 1 Crosswalk

Aberdeen's US Highway 1 is set to become safer for pedestrians and cyclists as the new crosswalk near Aberdeen Park nears completion. This initiative includes traffic activation buttons and safety islands, aiming to reduce accidents in an area frequented by many area outdoor enthusiasts. See details MooreBreakingNewz.com.

Scheduled Water Flushing in Whispering Pines

On Monday, April 29, Carolina Water Service will begin its annual water line flushing in Whispering Pines, which will continue through May 10. This may affect water pressure and clarity. Residents are advised to postpone laundry and run taps to clear any cloudiness following flushing activities. See details Sandhills Sentinel.

All Moore County Libraries will be closed Friday, May 10 for a Staff Development Day.
