CCNC to Host Prestigious Amateur Golf Championships in 2026 and 2027

The Country Club of North Carolina is set to host the 2026 Carolinas Amateur and the 2027 Southern Amateur Championship, continuing its legacy as a key supporter of amateur golf. Don’t Forget! Young Eagles Kids Fly Free Day May 4

The EAA's Young Eagles Kids Fly Free day is set for May 4th at Moore County Airport, offering free flights for children aged 8 to 17 to promote aviation education and enjoyment, sponsored by local aviation and youth organizations. More Information.

Controlled Substances Found in Carthage Search

Darian Janus and Lindsay Everett were arrested in Carthage after a search at their location revealed fentanyl, buprenorphine hydrochloride, clonazepam, Lunesta, Xanax, and items consistent with drug paraphernalia. They face multiple drug-related charges and are held on secured bonds, with a court appearance set for May 15, 2024. Source: Moore County Sheriff’s Office.
