Police Chase Leads to Arrest of Pinehurst Woman on Multiple Felonies

Sheila Renee Allred was arrested in Pinehurst after fleeing a traffic stop and crashing into a patrol vehicle during a high-speed chase where Allred made a U-turn on the highway, doubling back towards Pinehurst, during which she struck a Moore County Sheriff's Office patrol vehicle twice. Her vehicle eventually became disabled, allowing deputies to take her into custody without further incident. Facing multiple charges, Allred is held without bond and awaits a court appearance on May 22. Source: Moore County Sheriff’s Office
