Police Investigate Overnight Break-In at Aberdeen Tobacco Store

The Aberdeen Police are investigating a break-in at the Tobacco & Vape Shop on Highway 5, discovered early Friday morning when an employee found the store's glass door broken. The incident occurred overnight, and detectives are still determining what was stolen. The police are seeking information from the public to aid their investigation. Arrest in Vehicle Break-In and Fraud Case

Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced the arrest of Demarcus Jerad Campbell on charges related to vehicle break-in and financial fraud in Cameron, NC. Following a report on March 17, 2024, Campbell was arrested on April 10, 2024, and faces several felony and misdemeanor charges: one count of felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle, one count of misdemeanor theft from a motor vehicle, three counts of felony identity theft, two counts of felony financial card theft, one count of felony financial card fraud, and two counts of misdemeanor financial card fraud. He is being held on a $100,000 bond, awaiting his court appearance on April 12, 2024. See details MooreBreakingNewz.com.

Two Aberdeen Teens Face Charges in Vehicle Theft Case

Two teenage boys from Aberdeen, aged 14 and 16, have been charged with the theft of a car that occurred on January 31. The Aberdeen Police recovered the vehicle and, after thorough investigation, identified the minors involved. Charges including Felony Larceny and Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle have been filed, with the cases proceeding through Moore County Juvenile Court.
