Aberdeen Police Apprehend Suspect in 2022 Armed Robbery

Nearly two years after an armed robbery in Aberdeen, a key suspect, Jose Carmello Pinson, has been arrested. The 2022 incident involved two men and a woman accosting a victim on his way to a business, with one man waving a handgun to rob him. Surveillance footage led to arrest warrants for Jose and Rene Pinson shortly after. While Rene was quickly apprehended, Jose evaded arrest until recently found in Hoke County. He now faces charges including felony conspiracy to commit robbery, with a total bond set at $250,000 for various charges.
