Talbooth Street Project in Aberdeen Begins April 8

The Talbooth Street Project in Aberdeen is scheduled to kick off on April 8, 2024, focusing on infrastructure improvements such as drainage, parking expansion, street resurfacing, and dumpster area construction. The project will temporarily close municipal parking near the Planning Department and Bakehouse on N. Poplar St. for approximately six weeks. Alternative parking will be available on nearby streets and specified locations around Knight St. and Garrett St.

Southern Pines Police Seek Information on Hit-and-Run Camaro

The police in Southern Pines are on the lookout for a yellow Camaro related to a hit-and-run incident. The community is asked to aid the investigation by contacting the police by emailing [email protected] or by calling 910-692-2732.
