The Moore County Sheriff's Office is seeking public assistance to identify suspects involved in a recent larceny at a local business on March 27, 2024. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the MCSO tip line at 910-947-4444.

Moore County has updated its welcome signs along Highway 1 to include the designation "The Home of American Golf," as endorsed by the Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen Area CVB. This effort, supported by key figures like Senator McInnis and Pat Molanphy, reflects the area's deep connection to the sport, underscored by the presence of Golf House Pinehurst and the scheduling of future U.S. Opens.
