Historic Rosenwald School in Southern Pines Recognized on National Register

The National Register of Historic Places has welcomed a school from Southern Pines and nine other sites in North Carolina as its latest additions. Initially established as a Rosenwald School in 1925 to serve African American children, the Southern Pines school expanded into an 11-building complex, reflecting mid-20th-century architectural trends. These buildings symbolize the local educational board's approach to providing equal education in a segregated system. The inclusion of these sites in the register is a testament to North Carolina's ongoing efforts to honor and preserve its historical assets. See details WKML.com.

Town of Pinebluff Town Hall will be Closed on Friday, March 29th.

Spotlight On: Josh Bozeman of 9 Parabellum Stones Media

9 Parabellum Stones Media of Vass

Did you know Vass has it’s own story-telling genius? We have a hidden gem that’s all about telling stories that matter. It’s called 9 Parabellum Stones Media, and the brain behind it is none other than Josh Bozeman.

Imagine mixing the precision of a military strategist with the eye of an artist; that’s Josh. After hanging up his army boots, he grabbed a camera and decided to make a splash in the world of videography and content creation.

Josh has a pretty interesting background. From psychological ops in the Army to an eye-opening gig with Tesla, he’s seen a lot. But what really got him into starting his own thing was his love for freedom and storytelling. He wanted to use his skills to help businesses and non-profits stand out, and boy, does he deliver. His approach is all about getting to know what you really need and then crafting a story that’s as unique as you are.

But Josh is more than just a business owner; he’s a community guy. He’s been out there making free videos for local causes, helping everyone get the word out about the good things they’re doing.

And he’s not stopping there. He’s also diving into creating children's books with strong values and making short films that shine a light on the challenges veterans face.

Josh and his 9 Parabellum Stones Media are like our local heroes of storytelling. He’s proof that with a bit of creativity and a lot of heart, you can tell stories that really make a difference. For more information about Josh, visit 9psm.com.
