Whitehall Closure for Prescribed Burn
Whitehall at Reservoir Park in Southern Pines will be closed on March 22, 2024, to allow the North Carolina Forest Service to conduct a prescribed burn. This controlled fire, covering 50 acres, is intended to clear underbrush and non-native species, benefiting the Longleaf pines by providing essential nutrients.
Heads up, Pinecone Hunters!
