Lane Closure Alert: West Pennsylvania Avenue Affected

A lane on West Pennsylvania Avenue will be closed today, Thursday, March 7, due to Duke Energy contractors replacing poles. Motorists are advised to slow down, be cautious, and expect minor delays.

Page Road Closure Scheduled for Intersection Upgrade Starting March 12

NCDOT announces the temporary closure of Page Road, between Highway 15-501 and Regional Drive, from March 12th until late April, due to an intersection realignment project. Detour signs will be in place, and motorists are advised to contact NCDOT for further information.

Temporary Closure and Operational Shift at Moore County Landfill

Moore County Landfill will be closed on March 21, 2024, for new scale installations, reopening on March 22 with a temporary cubic yard fee schedule until scales become operational on March 25. This schedule adjustment is vital for improving landfill services.
