Upcoming Nightly Lane Closures on Highway 15-501

The paving project on 15-501 between Memorial Drive and Page Road will extend over several nights, with lane closures repeating during the same hours from Monday, February 26th, through Wednesday, February 28th. To manage traffic flow through the affected area, flaggers will be on-site, guiding vehicles and ensuring safety. Motorists are advised to anticipate delays, consider adjusting travel times, and seek alternative routes. For further inquiries or concerns, the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) can be reached at 910-944-7621.

Southern Pines Traffic Alert

On Monday, Feb 26 along Brucewood Drive, one lane in each direction will be closed to complete a crossing.

Aberdeen Fire & Rescue to Conduct Live Fire Training

On March 1st, the Aberdeen Fire & Rescue Department, alongside other fire services, will conduct a Live Fire Training at 103 Meredith Dr., from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The exercise involves a controlled burn, potentially leading to heavy smoke and minor traffic disruptions. The department has advised the public to avoid the area if possible and apologizes for any inconvenience.
