Investigation Closes on Fatal Aberdeen Collision
The Aberdeen Police Department has concluded its investigation into a fatal collision that occurred on February 3, 2024, near the entrance to Dick’s Sporting Goods on 15-501. The accident involved a 2017 Suzuki GS-XR 1000 motorcycle, driven by Rafael De Jesus Flores Jr., who tragically lost his life, and a 2013 Honda Ridgeline with three occupants, two of whom sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation found excessive speed by Flores to be a contributing factor but found no fault with the Honda Ridgeline's driver, resulting in no charges being filed. Wealth Advisor Insider Nathan Cherry: An Important Question To Ask Your Bank
Nathan Cherry, Private Wealth Advisor 910-692-9014510 NW Broad St. Southern Pines | Most people have cash sitting in the bank. It’s in a safe account like a savings account earning virtually nothing. Meanwhile, interest rates are high and the potential for earnings is there. To realize better interest rates, you just have to ask your bank an important question. The question you will need to ask is whether the bank offers a high yield savings account or a Money Market option. Most banks have these options available and are currently offering higher rates than a normal savings account. |
Banks will not necessarily tell existing customers about their high yield or money market options. You may be missing out on additional interest earnings by not asking. Asking this one question could see your hard-earned cash accrue some interest in 2024. An account with $50k in it could yield enough interest to pay property taxes, cover a vacation, or put spending money in your pocket. Seems worth a conversation with your bank. Contact Nathan at 910-692-9014.
