Tragic Collision Claims Life of U.S. Army Soldier in Aberdeen

This past Saturday afternoon, a U.S. Army soldier, Rafael Dejesus Flores Jr., died following a motorcycle crash with a pickup truck in Aberdeen. The accident happened as Flores rode north on U.S. 15/501 and collided with a truck turning into the shopping center at Dick’s Sporting Goods. Despite immediate CPR by bystanders, Flores passed away from his injuries. A child and two adults in the truck received minor injuries but were released from the hospital. The crash is under investigation by the Aberdeen Police. See full story CBS17.com.

Three Arrested in Moore County for Drug Trafficking and Firearm Charges

On February 2, following a routine traffic stop in Carthage, Moore County, Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced the arrest of three individuals on charges related to drug trafficking and firearm possession. Eric Russell Jeffreys, Russell Lawrence Huddleston, and Pamela Elaine Jones face serious drug trafficking and firearm possession charges, with each held on a $100,000 bond awaiting their court date. The traffic stop revealed methamphetamine, suboxone, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm in their vehicle.

Aberdeen Police Seek Public Help in Appliance Warehouse Larceny Case

The Aberdeen Police Department is requesting public assistance in identifying individuals and vehicles involved in a larceny at Kee’s Appliance Warehouse. Detective Pridgen is the investigating officer, and photos have been shared for identification purposes.
