Painted Pony Installations Have Begun in Southern Pines!

The 5th Annual Painted Ponies Art Walk and Auction is set to dazzle Southern Pines from now through early April. This event, free and open to the public, features 16 life-size pony sculptures, each uniquely designed by local artists. The Painted Ponies will be on display along Broad Street, with maps available at the Southern Pines Visitors Center. This year features 16 ponies and 21 sponsors. The previous year's auction raised over $90,000 for the Carolina Horse Park Foundation.

The big reveal is scheduled for Saturday Feb. 3 on Broad St. in Southern Pines. The 2024 event will culminate in a live online auction on April 6, with proceeds supporting the Carolina Horse Park. This event is a significant fundraiser, contributing to park maintenance and safety. See more details on CarolinaHorsePark.com.
