Taylortown: Wee Pines Miniature Golf Nears Completion

According to a recent article in the Seven Lakes Insider, Wee Pines, a new miniature golf business in Olmsted Village, Taylortown, is set to open soon. The facility, which began construction in October 2022, features two unique courses named Calamity Jane and Bullseye. These courses offer a natural, challenging experience without typical mini-golf themes. Designed by Miniature Golf Solutions, Wee Pines will offer rental clubs, refreshments, and a late-night play option. A soft opening is expected in February, followed by a grand opening in spring. See details Seven Lakes Insider.

Duke Energy and Aberdeen Join Forces to Identify Broken Street Lights

Duke Energy is calling on the residents of Aberdeen to assist in identifying malfunctioning street lights within the town limits. Residents who notice a non-working street light are encouraged to note the nearest address or the pole number and report this information to the Aberdeen Public Works Department. This can be done by calling 910-944-7012 or emailing staff at [email protected] or [email protected].

Town of Cameron: The Town Hall will close at 1:30pm today.
