Two Alarm Fire In Seven Lakes Completely Destroys Home

Firefighters were dispatched to a structure fire on Wrentree Court in Seven Lakes around 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning.

The first arriving unit reported a working structure fire. According to Seven Lakes Fire Chief David Alston they immediately requested a 2nd alarm be dispatched for additional apparatus and manpower.

The resident of the home was not injured, however according to fire officials they are still trying to locate a dog that was believed to be in the house.

The American Red Cross was dispatched to assist the now displaced resident.

Longleaf Drive was closed to traffic in both directions for an extended time period due to the large number of emergency vehicles that were on the scene.

Responding were units with Seven Lakes Fire & Rescue, Eagle Springs Fire Department, West End Fire & Rescue, Eastwood Fire Department, Carthage Fire & Rescue, Pinehurst Fire Department, Pinebluff Fire & Rescue, the Tower Truck from Aberdeen Fire & Rescue, Moore County EMS, Moore County Public Safety, and the Moore County Sheriff’s Department.
