Charitee Taylor: Greatest Baker Competitor from Moore County
Charitee Taylor: Carthage's Rising Star in the Greatest Baker Competition
Charitee Taylor, the owner of "Bree's Deliciously Sweet Treats" in Moore County, is making waves in TV’s Greatest Baker competition. This talented local baker is not just showcasing her skills on a national platform but also vying for a chance to win $10,000 and an exclusive feature in "Bake from Scratch" magazine.
The competition, judged by AZ food critic Melissa Anaya, offers more than just fame and fortune. It's an opportunity for Charitee to meet and learn from Buddy Valastro, the acclaimed "Cake Boss." This unique experience includes a workshop and Q&A session with Valastro, providing invaluable insights into the world of professional baking.
Charitee's participation in the Greatest Baker competition is also a gesture of support for The Andrew McDonough Be Positive Foundation, which aids families dealing with childhood cancer. By voting for Charitee, you're not only backing a local talent but also contributing to a noble cause. Donate and Vote here.
Here's the exciting part: You can vote for Charitee for free every 24 hours! The first crucial cut-off date is December 7th, and Charitee would love to have your support. Rallying behind her means supporting a local business and a community member's dream.

Village of Pinehurst Holiday Kickoff
This past Friday, on a not-so-chilly December night, the Village of Pinehurst transformed into a wonderland of lights, laughter, and community spirit. On December 1st, the village, known for its picturesque charm, held its annual Christmas tree lighting celebration.
The streets, typically a picture of serene village life, transformed into a bustling hub of holiday excitement. The streets, usually reserved for the daily hustle and bustle, were transformed into a pedestrian's paradise, filled with music, food, and an array of vendors and shopping in the Village retail stores.
As the evening wound down, Pinehurst glowed – both from the holiday lights and the evident community fun.
Recent Arrests
The Moore County Sheriff's Office conducted a search in Aberdeen, leading to the arrest of 37-year-old Leo Glen Hill for various drug charges. The accused faces multiple drug-related charges and is detained with a $35,000 bond, awaiting a court date on January 10th, 2024.
A recent traffic stop in Cameron by Moore County Sheriff’s Office resulted in the arrest of 57-year-old Belinda Ann Smith for possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The stop, made for a registration violation, led to the discovery of the drugs, and the individual has been scheduled to appear in court on January 4th, 2024.
