Multiple Arrests Made in Connection with Home Invasion/Murder

On Tuesday, in a coordinated effort involving Moore County sheriff's investigators, Aberdeen Police, and the Richmond County Sheriff's Office, simultaneous search warrants were executed at three locations spanning Moore and Richmond counties. The operation was conducted as part of an ongoing investigation into a home invasion and homicide. Evidence linked to the home invasion was successfully recovered during these searches.

As a result of these operations, several individuals were arrested, including Trevell Wade, aged 22, from Hamlet, who was charged with murder and held without bond. Noah Harrington, an 18-year-old from Aberdeen, was charged with accessory after the fact to murder and held on a $225,000 secured bond. Jaidon Stockey, 21 years old, also from Aberdeen, faced similar charges and bond conditions. Shakeanma Hubbard, aged 37, from Aberdeen, was also charged with accessory after the fact to murder and held on a $225,000 secured bond. A 15-year-old juvenile from Aberdeen was taken into custody by the North Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice for the same charge.

Additionally, Dajwan Monroe, 21, was arrested in eastern North Carolina and charged with murder. He was remanded without bond, with his court date pending release from a medical facility.

The investigation into the homicide is ongoing, and anyone with pertinent information is urged to contact the Moore County Sheriff's Office Tipline at 910-947-4444.
