Moore County Woman's Remains Found, Boyfriend Charged with Murder

The remains of Allisha Watts, who went missing on July 16, are believed to have been found, as announced by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. Her boyfriend, James Wendell Dunmore, has been arrested and charged with her murder. Dunmore, who has a past criminal record including kidnapping, was discovered unconscious in Watts' car two days after her disappearance. Multiple law enforcement agencies have been involved in the over-a-month-long search for Watts. Dunmore's court appearance is set for Monday at the Montgomery Courthouse, with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office leading the ongoing investigation.

Pinecrest Athletic Dept Adopts Digital Ticketing System for Game Entry

Pinecrest now requires fans to use mobile digital tickets for game entry, offering a safer and more streamlined experience. Cash will no longer be accepted, with tickets available for purchase on the GoFan platform or via card at the Box Office. On-site tickets will be limited, and a new gate design promotes social distancing. The digital and cashless initiative started in the 2020-2021 academic year, and sports passes remain on hold until further state guidance on spectator restrictions.
